Inspired by the youthful legacy of Ibn ʿAbbas, Tayseer Seminary organizes a 3-week summer program in Knoxville that offers a structured environment of learning for young Muslims ages 13-17.

Studies are balanced with outdoor adventures, leadership training, and lifelong friendships, a transformative summer that helps teens form a confident, grounded relationship with their faith.

A transformative summer

Three weeks designed around the holistic development of Muslim teens, combining Islamic education, outdoor adventures, leadership training, and community building.

Islamic Studies

Daily classes in Quran, Sira, fiqh, and Islamic character, taught by Tayseer faculty in a setting designed for teens.

Outdoor Adventures

Hiking, archery, swimming, and team-building activities in the natural beauty surrounding Knoxville.

Leadership Training

Structured exercises and reflections that build communication, decision-making, and Islamic leadership.

Mentorship & Friendship

Small group mentoring with faculty and counselors that builds lifelong bonds and a community of practice.

Camp life at Tayseer

Campers live and learn on the Tayseer campus in West Knoxville, sharing meals, prayers, and study sessions with their cohort.

Parents receive regular updates throughout the camp; closing day brings families together for a celebration of what their teens have accomplished.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the tuition?

Tuition is typically around $500 per student and this is inclusive of 3 full days of activities.

Is there a sibling discount?

Yes, there is a 25% sibling discount.

How long does the program run?

Between June 9 and June 27. The day starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 2:30 PM, except for activity days which may run longer. We will have a small ceremony to recognize our students at the end of the program. For additional questions, email us at [email protected].
